Joel Kremer, MD, and Sara Kremer $1 Million Lifetime Investment to Career Development
ATLANT, GA. – (October, 2024) – The Foundation is pleased to announce Joel Kremer, MD and Sara Kremer have committed to a $1 million investment to support early and mid-career investigators. This generous commitment established the Joel Kremer, MD, and Sara Kremer Career Development Research Fund, which provides support for early and mid-career investigators to continue vital research into the cause, prevention, and treatment of rheumatic disease.
“Our discipline needs our help, contributing to the Foundation is both a responsibility and a privilege,” stated Dr. Kremer. “The Foundation is the rudder on the virtuous ship that navigates the often turbulent waters of our medical discipline. No other source of funding comes close!” when asked why they chose the Foundation for their investment.
Their contribution not only supports vital research but also serves as an inspiration to others in the rheumatology community.
