ATLANTA – Mark Andrejeski, executive vice president of the American College of Rheumatology (ACR) was inducted into the Foundation’s Honorary Board of Advisors at the Donors of Merit event held Saturday, October 20, 2018, at the JW Marriot Chicago. Under his visionary leadership, the ACR has demonstrated its continued commitment to the Foundation’s mission through unprecedented support, for a combined total of more than $22.5 million.
At the direction of Mr. Andrejeski, the ACR has served as the first stakeholder in all three of the Foundation’s fundraising campaigns, and set the standard for transformational giving which has inspired a culture of philanthropy among ACR and ARP members, patients, corporations, foundations and many others.
“I think the ACR’s investment in the Foundation shows and major commitment and that’s important to donors. If you aren’t committed yourself, why should I give? Well, in this case, we are committed,” said Andrejeski.
Mr. Andrejeski’s induction into the Foundation’s Honorary Board of Advisors was held in conjunction with the American College of Rheumatology/Association of Rheumatology Professionals Annual Meeting in Chicago. The honor is reserved for individuals who have made a transformative contribution, either through monetary support and/or act of leadership, which made an indelible mark on the Foundation’s future fundraising success.
